About

My name is Hannah DeVaux. I am a passionate artist and author who aims to bridge the gap between science and spirituality, since they are two sides of the same coin.

I was raised in the church as a Presbyterian, although I was never devout. I believed in a God, but I didn’t feel much of a calling towards the spiritual aside from my fascination with the paranormal.

My dad began exploring Hermeticism and joined the Rosicrucians late in my childhood. He and my mom broke away from Christianity and I began my spiritual journey at 13 through meditation.

Although, I wasn’t a huge fan of meditating until I was about 15.

When I took to it, I began to do it regularly, and I was opened up to a completely new world - the world inside my mind. It became a creative outlet for me - to go into meditation and draft up immersive experiences only for them to appear in my life later on. From friends, to cute boys, to making the dance team, to getting my driver's license, even being voted onto the prom court, it became very apparent to me that I had more influence over my life than I previously had thought. I also began experimenting with the healing arts, and got Reiki certified at 17. I was able to heal my own illnesses with my hands, and even made a group of precancerous cells in my body disappear overnight.

Though, after a few paid sessions with clients, I realized that it was a gift best reserved for my loved ones.

After graduating high school, I attended two different universities and a community college over the span of two years. I also started a small candle making business on the side and was learning how to read tarot. After changing my major 4 times, I realized I was wasting my time and money. Traditional higher education was not for me.

I knew I wanted to turn my passion for the spiritual arts into a career; I had the vision and the motivation, the only thing I lacked was the community. That was when I started reading cards on my YouTube channel, Madame DeVaux, back in January 2019!

At the time, YouTube tarot was incredibly popular, so I quickly scaled and was booked with many clients who resonated with my readings. I also became relatively well-known in my hometown of El Paso, Texas. I did card readings at local events and made fabulous connections within the holistic community.

In May of that same year, I went to the beautiful granite dells of Prescott, Arizona and got a 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher certification. It was an enriching experience, and I had an amazing teacher - Cassandra Bright who helped me understand the yogic path as a much needed puzzle piece that fit right in place with the wisdom I had attained up until that point.

I spent the following year teaching yoga in a couple different studios, only to find that teaching in a studio didn’t resonate with me the way I thought it would. I love the path of yoga and still practice it regularly, I plan on getting more certification hours and owning a studio one day.

On top of reading cards, I became very passionate about making educational videos breaking down foundational esoteric concepts, only to find that this sparked my sense of purpose way more than tarot card reading ever did.

I still read cards on my Patreon, and you can get access to weekly finance and love readings when you become a member!

My YouTube channel has become centered around enlightening people to their greatest power and purpose. There, you will find a wide array of subliminal tapes and educational videos that will assist in your journey back home to self. I offer personal subliminal tapes to help reconstruct subconscious beliefs and coaching services for those who are seeking one-on-one guidance.

I also recently published The Big Book of Affirmations, an interactive book made to help readers get into the habit of regularly working positive affirmation into the way they speak to themselves, carving new neural pathways that will ultimately lead them to making great change in their lives.

With all the big plans I have for Madame DeVaux, I am honored and excited that you have chosen to be a part of this journey with me. I am endlessly grateful for the support I’ve received from my community. You all are truly wonderful.
